Our First Volunteer Event with the Children’s Storefront

Our first volunteer event of 2010 with our new charity partner - The Children's Storefront (www.thechildrensstorefront.org) was held Wednesday January 20, 2010, where Ties members met talented students, passionate staff, dedicated parents, and engaged board members!  We mixed and mingled with the Children's Storefront team and shared some wine as well as delicious food prepared on site in the Children’s Storefront kitchen. We were able to hear from actual students about what the school meant to them and how it has touched their lives. We want to send a thank you for all the members that did attend, it was a great event! For those that couldn’t make it please stay posted as we have many events with the school coming soon, so please keep your eye out for those in the near future.
