From the Stage to the Streets

A two-part fundraiser to benefit New Alternatives for ChildrenLet the music move you to celebrate. Let the music move you to give. Let the music move you to hope.
nycTIES invites you to From the Stage to the Streets, a two-part fundraising initiative to benefit our friends, New Alternatives for Children (NAC).
Every six months, we build “ties” with a partner charity by hosting a major event in support of its vital cause. For the first time ever, we’re hosting two amazing events that celebrate our city’s love of performing arts and raise awareness and critical funds for NAC’s biggest areas of need. Be a part of our exciting events that will support the life-changing work of New Alternatives for Children.
From the Stage to the Streets opened with a presentation of “Einstein’s Dreams” and other works by contemporary classical composer David Homan. Mr. Homan and company dazzled the crowed on Saturday, September 27, at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center, (129 West 67th Street). Preceding the concert, Moet Hennessy generously sponsored a VIP reception to celebrate the occasion.
On November 12th nycTIES is hosting its Fall Benefit sponsored by Moet Hennessy, part two of From the Stage to the Streets. This second event will feature some of the best and most intriguing buskers found on New York City’s streets, sidewalks and subway platforms. This one-of-a-kind celebration, involving NYC’s most talented street performers, will bring 500+ young professionals together at TOUCH nightclub to raise funding for NAC’s most high priority needs.
