From the Stage to the Streets openned on Saturday, September 27th with a presentation of “Einstein’s Dreams” and other works by contemporary classical composer David Homan. Hosted at the beautiful Merkin Hall. . .

Known for accessible, romantic and lyrical works, Mr. Homan is a three-time commissioned composer for concerts at Carnegie/Weill Hall and a featured Ballet at the Joyce Theater. The concert also featured the talents of Sean Schulich (Flute), David Byrd Marrow (French Horn), Bela Horvath (Violin), David Lisker (Violin), Tom Palny (Viola), Yoed Nir (Cello), and Xiayin Wang (Piano).

Mr. Homan and company performed at 8PM, Saturday, September 27, at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center, (129 West 67th Street). Preceding the concert, from 7pm-8pm, was a VIP reception sponsored by Moet Hennessy.
