Our Impact
When we build strong TIES to great organizations, the resulting impact is exponential. Over the five years since our founding, the men and women of nycTIES have partnered with six critical nonprofit organizations, developing as leaders while making a tangible impact on New York City.
Charity Partnerships: New York City chapter of the American Heart Association, Harlem RBI, Gilda's Club New York City and Ronald McDonald House of New York, Career Gear, New Alternatives for Children, and The Children's Storefront

Even Manhattan Borough President, Scott Stringer, joined in the fun. On Saturday, November 13th, nycTIES members gathered at Lasker Rink in Central Park. We held a free open skate for the students, taught them hockey lessons, and hosted a charity hockey tournament for young professionals in the city. Impact:
To promote students' physical activity and healthy choices, nycTIES painted the school's gym and cafeteria, created an Ancient Greek Olympics to coincide with the students' summer school studies, and participated in yoga classes and a workshop on how to pack a healthy lunch. Additionally, members donated their professional skills to create a new marketing brochure for the school. All in all, nycTIES contribution was valued at over $ 62,500. For our efforts, the school honored us at their 2011 parents gala with their Bridget Wright Award. Ms. Wright was the mother of three Storefront children who, sadly, lost her battle with cancer The parents believed the impact nycTIES had on its community exemplified Bridget's love and contribution to the school.
