1) Planting a Philanthropic Seed
At nycTIES, we believe it's crucial to plant a philanthropic seed early in ones' professional career. By offering varying levels of commitment, we pride ourselves in finding creative ways for young professionals to impact their community. Whether it's a helping hand, a dollar, or professional expertise, no contribution is insignificant. We believe in the clichè "Every little bit counts."
2) TIES to the community
We believe that everyone should be a contributing part of his or her community. nycTIES focuses on developing deep relationships with our charity partners and keeping those relationships strong by maintaining long-term TIES with our current and past charity partners.
3) Accountable Philanthropy
nycTIES' mission is to enable young professionals to strengthen their ties to New York City through partnerships with local charities. Members learn the tangible impact of philanthropic giving and develop invaluable leadership skills by serving charities through raising funds, awareness, and applying their personal skills and talents.
4) Diversity in Teamwork
We embrace individuality. At nycTIES, we strive to attract members that are diverse in cultures, backgrounds, skills, and interests. Only with the passion and shared knowledge of a diverse membership base can we hope to make an impact on a community as diverse as New York City.

To make a truly lasting impact, we know we have to listen to our charity partners. We identify with our charity partners' problems, buy into their goals, and share in their joys. Here in nycTIES, we value the expertise of all members and make group discussion a hallmark of our operating style.

We leverage our diverse networks to assist members where we can.
